During this challenging time in history, we’ve created a safe and fun way to raise funds for the critical funding needed to continue the mission of Access to Care, who facilitates access to primary healthcare services to the uninsured and underinsured residents of suburban Cook County and northwest Chicago.
Virtual Holiday Wine Tasting and Auction
With the ever-changing climate in healthcare, your participation is even more critical to our ability to continue to serve those in need. Your support sends immediate aid to low-income, uninsured, and under-insured residents in our community. Proceeds from this fundraiser will allow for these individuals to be assigned to a primary care physician near their home where they will receive unlimited, low-cost office visits, diagnostic laboratory and radiology tests, prescription medication and mental health care.

Access to Care (ATC) is a primary health care program for low-income, uninsured and under-insured residents of suburban Cook County and northwest Chicago. It is a health care safety net for those individuals who cannot afford to purchase insurance, even with the options available through the Affordable Care Act (ACA). Increasingly, Access to Care also fills the gap in coverage for the under-insured who purchased health care insurance at low premiums on the ACA health exchanges, but cannot meet the corresponding high deductibles.
Access to Care serves over 6,000 members annually and your participation will allow us to grow and expand our reach. It was estimated that 513,000 residents of Cook County alone, will remain uninsured by 2021. We expect this number will now climb and Access to Care will be there to continue to fill the gap. As one of the few programs that leverages the physician donation with your donations to create an efficient partnership, we rely on the generous support of donors such as yourself.
Access to Care has served the most vulnerable among us for the last 32 years. The need for affordable, quality health care continues, and every contribution makes a difference. Please support this unique fundraiser by becoming an event sponsor or donating to the silent auction. For more information, contact:
